Has anyone tried this lately for a hotel near Disney? If so, what hotel are you getting if you request a 4 star or resort? We are planning on going in Jan. I have heard it is better to wait closer to the date you are going to use Priceline. I am thinking I am close enough to the date to try it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

Try looking around at betterbidding.com Lots of information and tips on using priceline and hotwire.

Also you might try looking at www.biddingfortravel.com
There is a lot of info there also. The WDW area resorts that have been coming up lately for Jan dates seem to be the Hilton in WDW village and Gaylord Palms (Hilton in the $58 to $68 range and the Gaylord at $75 to $85 give or take a little)...not too sure about other levels haven't been watching them as closely, but you can check the board for info and hotel reviews.
