We are spending the first 3 nights of our 11 day vacation at the Hyatt Orlando..then we move to the All Stars. We're pleased with it, since we have some outside stuff to do near Orlando, and we'll do it those days. No kids, so we dont' need much.

Bid was $35..no bonus available (waited too late)

The hotel is not that bad. WE stayed there in NOvember for 3 nights with a Priceline bid. Its not in my opinion 3* as far as the rooms go but the location is good and its not like its a dump or anything.

For the price we paid, I'm happy about it. I'm not sure I know what a *** hotel is...what are the Allstars?

We won't be in the room much. I was told that I can call and give our gold passport number, and they'll be more likely to honor our requests, so I hope to ask for courtroom and king bed.

We stayed here via a priceline bid February 2002. At checkin we asked for 2 renovated rooms and received them in the Orange Blossom building. Both rooms were poolside, very quiet ,clean and a good value for what we paid. I also provided them with my Hyatt gold passport number----don't know if it helped in getting what we asked for!
Getting to Disney was a breeze!
One nice touch is a guardshack that you must pass thru when entering the Hyatt grounds.
The Hotel seemed crowded with convention types---

This was a 3 night stay prior to checking in to OKW (DVC) and we didn't regret our winning bid with priceline!

Thank you Cap...I feel even better now about the room. It was so cheap, and we won't hardly be there.

It has been many years since I have stayed there, but I do recall some rooms look out over I-4, so if that an issue make sure to request a courtyard view. The hotel is set up in 2 story clusters of buildings, all with inside entrances. The other thing I recall is they do not have bathtubs, per se, only showers in most rooms.
