Priceline for Name Your Own Air Fare?

Has anyone ever used Priceline for name your own airfare?
I'm tempted to try it since it will be an adults only trip, but I also don't want horrible flight times with multiple connections.

well, you probably won't get the non-stop, 10am flights...those don't really need extra bodies to fill the seats. We HAVE pricelined flights before and got some good fares...it's a gamble so weigh your choice carefully. Money or convenience...you can't always have both.

We used it once and got horrible flight times with 2 connections one way and one connection on the return (direct flights were available on the routes). We spent the money we thought we were saving on a hotel near the airport for the insane flight times and lost a day of our vacation. Never again!
