Priceline for car rentals

I have never used priceline for anything - b/c I was always scared that they would accept my bid, anyways- I'm looking to rent a car at MCO for a week and contemplating using priceline.
Any horror stories I should know about. Or any amazing stories that are going to make me run out and book right now?

We have used priceline three times and never had a problem with the car rental companies, The first time we used them, we were upgrade to a lincoln towncar, really nice. I would use them again with no problem. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com for helpful hints on bidding the prices.

I posted this same question a couple of weeks ago. I tried priceline for two weeks and they wouldn't accept any of my bids. I used coupons and got the car for cheaper than priceline. I can't remember the details of my bidding, but the total for a full size would be $110 for 12/15-12/19. Priceline would not accept the bid. Then I used coupon codes off of these boards and got National full size for the same days for $105 total!! You might try it both ways.
