The best price I can get for a rental for 11/23-12/5 is $287 (all fees included) for a compact. I was fooling around with Priceline and thye were going to put in my request for a full size for a total of $197.

Two questions, Will this offer have a chance of getting accepted and is going through Priceline my best chance at the best price. Also if you have any comments regarding Priceline and rental cars please share them.

Thanks

It looks like you have a 12 day rental. With Priceline bid by the day....the cheapest I have ever see for a compact at MCO through Priceline is $12 or 13 perday (and that is before taxes and fees...I haven't seen the $12 come up in a while)....I have 2 suggestions:

!. Go ahead and try a Priceline bid for $12 or 13 per day...they will show you the total cost including taxes, etx before you actually submit the bid and if it is less than you could find on line go ahead. The problem with Priceline is if they accept your bid then it is a done deal, no cancellation, no refund

2. BEFORE you bid on priceline go to www.mousesavers.com and check out the info on car rental discounts and codes and see if you cannot get a better price than you have by using some of those. If not then try Priceline. Usually for rentals of a week or longer you can do better booking it yourself using codes.
