Please provide specifics so we can examine and reply. What's the deal with Priceline saying the rooms only sleep two people?
second reply....a few minutes later........What's the deal with Priceline saying the rooms only sleep two people?
Do 2 bookings....27th to the 30th with an ExprDeal....use some other method to book the same category of room at the same resort for Oct 27th to Nov 3rdI’m helping a friend book a trip in late October. Am I right in thinking there’s nothing on Priceline for October 27th to November 3rd? I’ve been checking, and I don’t think I see any deals. Is that right?
Thanks! No I understand that. I’ve booked CSR several times and never limited to King so was just curious….Remember.....PL ED's are for excess inventory that Disney is nervous about. Limited choices are the norm.
If what are you asking is............can you book an ExpDeal in a room from M-F....and then do a regular booking for the same category/view for Fri/Sat....and then be allowed to stay in the same room the entire time......the answer is Yes.
I have done that over at AS Sports
I am just one person with an opinion but that does not appear to be a Disney resort based upon that screen shot. I can't think of any place that only has a double bed these days. Riviera sleeps 2 in a tower studio but that is all I can think of.....and they are in 100 percent demand.View attachment 892678
AoA, right? Sleeps up to 2 people? What??
Yep, AoA. So I don't get why they say 2 people.I am updating my comments with this post.............it seems that they have a typo in the bedding.
They (PL) say Queen or Double or Sofa...BUT the real listing says Queen AND Double AND Sofa.
So.....since the number of reviews, and the $464, and the review average all match.....I do think it is AoA family suite.
I see AoA for $271 Oct 27th-Nov. 3rd, $2274 total. Also AKL for $277, same dates $2318. I'm in incognito mode so I can't take screen shots but everything lines up. Both Bonnet Creek, AoA 3 stars, 8+ rating, 300+ reviews. AKL 4 stars, 400+ reviews, 8+ rating.Do 2 bookings....27th to the 30th with an ExprDeal....use some other method to book the same category of room at the same resort for Oct 27th to Nov 3rd
Who knows. You see some wonky stuff sometimes like that. However in my experience if the stars, reviews, area and rating all match, that's what mattersYep, AoA. So I don't get why they say 2 people.
"Figuring it out" has been going on for years.Does Priceline know that some of thier Disney resorts are being figured out online? Have they tried to mix it up before, to make it harder? Just wonder if Disney cares too.
Yay! I'm so happy it worked out for her. Did she get a standard view?Thank you, thank you, thank you for confirming AKL for my friend's dates in late October. I showed my friend this thread and all of your detective work. She decided to pull the trigger and she did indeed get AKL! Even the passholder rate for the same dates is something like $1300 more for the week. Crazy good deal. She and her family thank you!!
Yes!Yay! I'm so happy it worked out for her. Did she get a standard view?
Yes!
PL only guarantees a room which will sleep 2. The overwhelming majority of rooms in the Orlando are can sleep 4. PL isn't guaranteeing the hotel in question is AoA.What's the deal with Priceline saying the rooms only sleep two people?
PL is moving inventory. If Disney cared they'd stop dumping inventory. Some hotels offer a best rate guarantee. PL express deals rarely qualify.Does Priceline know that some of thier Disney resorts are being figured out online? Have they tried to mix it up before, to make it harder?
