Priceline Express Deals

I saw ASMo pop up either yesterday or the day before briefly. But it only saved about $2 over the transparent price which was actually a good rate considering Disney had that sold out for months and it was lower than what WDW was listing. But it was very brief.

A bunch of WDW resorts had dipped in nightly rate though at that time but by the next morning, they went ridiculously high on PL. A standard room at CSR went from $227 to well over $300. CR went from high $300s to $500s. A few others too.

I haven't checked today though.

I am just coming to use Priceline after many years. I see everyone talking about “hidden”deals and I’m wondering how those appear for you to see. Thanks for any help you can give me.

They are the Express Deals.

They give vague info like you can see in post 8362 above.

You have to do some detailed detective work and try to match up the vague info with other hotels in that same "neighborhood" with an appropriate star rating and a similar number of reviews. You also need to examine the ratings of the reviews as well.

Just doing some spot checking it looks like PL express deals are back for late November. I'm finding CSR, AoA and ASsports. Sports is showing 50% off!

Edit: finding some late December deals too! There's a 10% off code LABORDAY10 on express deals

Thanks.

I can confirm......I punched in Nov 17-21 ......I see AS Sports for sure....this date span is 41 percent off

Glad to see some inventory being added

Sure thing! I booked 5 days in Mid- November and looked for express deals located near "Bonnet Creek". After verifying the location and comparing hotel amenities, I decided the description closely resembled AoA and was worth a shot. I'll be honest, It was a little scary knowing you can't get a refund... However, a hotel (originally priced) $400+, very close to Disney, and showing over 40%off was worth the risk. We ended up getting the AoA Cars Suite!

We are so back! I was looking for late October and found express deals for AS Sports, Coronado, AoA Family suites, and AKL. Just booked AKL for 281/night, which is a little over 50% off the lowest Disney rate. The AKL deal only showed up in the Priceline app, not on my laptop browser.

PL Express AS Sports note for October pricing--

The last night of discounts is Oct 29th with a check out date Oct 30th.

There are no Express deals for Oct 30 or 31.

If you are booking a multiday stay during October, you must check out by the morning of the 30th.....otherwise you will not be shown ANY PL Express deal for AS Sports.

If you need to continue your stay, book the nights of 30 and 31 without the Express Deal pricing via some other option.

So the values, CSR, and AKL are the usual resorts that have the Express deals for Disney?

Things have changed a lot since COVID and I am not a 100 percent expert on the subject......But, I will say that this past spring/early summer and ...now this fall....All Star Sports has shown up.

I know this fact with ultra high confidence because I have stayed there in the past via Priceline and it gives me the "hint" that I have stayed there (at the "unknown" Express Deal hotel) in the past....and AS Sports is the only Bonnet Creek place I have booked via Priceline.

Is anyone

Just to add: I can confirm Coronado is also showing up for several dates because I have the same hint.

I've booked PLE for Movies, but haven't seen it or gotten that hint at all.

I have seen what really appears to be AKL too, but I'm hesitant to do it, lol. Our plans aren't finalized yet anyway, so in wait mode LOL

I have 2 questions

Has anyone seen Coronado on PLE recently fo any days where it's NOT just a king-bed option? No matter which dates I check in 2nd half of November to 1st half of December, it's only the king bed. Ideally, we'd want two beds for my adult DD and me.

Also, I've been looking at the AKL deal but I see it for M-F only. If I try to add Saturday checkout to my search the express deal disappears. However, if I adjust the dates on the page on the "choose your room" page for my M-F search, it will allow me to add Friday night for a slightly higher price.

Would that actually work? lol I won't have a car so I definitely want to fairly certain we're at a WDW hotel.

Remember.....PL ED's are for excess inventory that Disney is nervous about. Limited choices are the norm.

If what are you asking is............can you book an ExpDeal in a room from M-F....and then do a regular booking for the same category/view for Fri/Sat....and then be allowed to stay in the same room the entire time......the answer is Yes.

I have done that over at AS Sports
