The last few days I’ve found -0- Disney properties on PL. Was originally searching for 1st week in July and then 1st week in September. *Hopefully* they are gearing up for some sort of discounted pricing?

There are Disney resorts available during that week... but I'm not familiar enough with that specific time frame so I couldn't tell you if they are "good" deals or not.

I got Pop for $81 a night plus taxes and fees for 7/3-7/8. I was booked with an AP rate of $144 a night!!!

Was it a standard room like the previous poster? We are booked in Preferred, first time at Pop, and I am worried about a long in August heat if we are assigned to a distant room.

There appears to be a ASMu family suite 8/18-20 for $175/night on Hotwire. I am not 100% confident that it's a suite rather than a weirdly overpriced room.
There appears to be a Pop room as late as 7/28-7/30 for $76 per night.

I read the reviews about crazy long walks at Pop. When we stayed there we timed the walk from the furthest point, and it was like 4 minutes. And that was with two little kids. Don’t panic about the building

Yes. It is a standard room. I have stayed at Pop probably a dozen times easily. Really no need to pay for preferred at Pop. The layout is smarter than Music or other large resorts. It's just a money grab to the first timers. I just did the math and I'm saving 53%. I went back and added a night at the beginning of the stay for $76 plus tax for 7/2. I HOPE this means the week will be reasonably crowded since Disney is liquidating rooms.

Just a quick thank you to the helpful folks on this thread! We were flexible as to vacation time, so I wound up booking AKL for the beginning of August. Went through DW as PL was very slightly less to a good deal more depending on view. I found you can’t solely go by room price, because PL fees can jack up the price.

We are booked for Pop Preferred because it was actually cheaper than Standard or an All Star in the most recent Disney sale. DD requests to walk the 7 minutes home from school, so it sounds like we'll be fine.

Pop in August may not easy to get. The Skyliner is nearing completion and rumors have it open at Pop in August. If that happens Pop is going to get hard to get.

I was able to snag a Coronado deal for one night during a sale and wondered when I should receive a Disney reservation number to link to MyDisneyExperience. Will it come as an email or will I have to search it out? Thanks- first time priceline user.

I’ve been checking during the weekend for my dates September 16-23 and while I see different Disney resorts as regular bookings through PL I see none as express deals.

Is this “normal” behavior?

You should have received an email from Priceline. There is a priceline trip confirmation number, but then further down in the details of your stay there is a different hotel confirmation number. That one should work on your MDE account. It can take anywhere from one day to three days for it to work on your MDE account.

Sure. They only offer rooms through Express Deals that they need to get rid of.

Last week when checking I only found some very limited PE deals in the next 2 weeks. The only in July I saw is this check-in and out July 5-7th for a 3* 8-guest deal for $83.
I suspect it is Pop Century.
