Priceline and Country Inn and Suites question

How do I guarantee parking while on my cruise??? I want to bid for this hotel BUT I called and the girl I talked to said that I was not guaranteed parking unless I booked directly with them. Has anyone had problems parking with a priceline booking at this hotel??? When I called Radison they said as long as I was a guest I guaranteed parking no matter how I booked.

I just did that- booked Country Inn & Suites through Priceline, then parked while I was on a 4 night on the Wonder this week. I had no issues at all with parking, but it was an additional $20 charge (Priceline rooms do not include that). That fee did include a shuttle to and from the port- which was easy and very prompt. We didn't even wait 5 minutes for a pick up when we returned. They have a very large lawn in front of the hotel, and when we returned there were about 40 cars parked on it because the parking lot was full. As long you don't mind something like that, I can't imagine they'd run out of parking.

If you don't mind my asking, how did you bid on Priceline to get Country Inn and Suites?

Country Inn and Suites is the only 2.5 star hotel in Cocoa Beach (Cape Canaveral area) so it's a no brainer that you will get it if you select that star rating as your option. The only thing that might happen is that it might reject your bid and then Priceline makes you wait 24 hours to re-bid. I just booked the CI&S on Friday for our December cruise using the pricing advice from others on our cruise and got it. We're very happy, as it is making the cost $40 less than the AAA rate I had booked.

There is a site called betterbidding dot com that lists the Priceline hotels by state / city / specific area so you can get a better idea of what you might get when you use Priceline.
