Hi everyone!
I'm looking to get tickets to San Diego for next week, and the travelocity price is $360. I'm wondering if I can do better on priceline, but I've never used it before. Do they let you select time of day (ie. morning/afternoon/evening/night, not specific hour)? Or are you stuck with what they give you? I'd like to fly Thurs night or Fri morning, but I don't want to miss work on Thursday or leave late on Friday, cutting into my trip.

Any other hints to get cheap airfare?

If memory serves, when you use priceline, you agree to take whatever flight they give you between 6am and 10pm (they guarantee nothing before 6 or after 10), with up to 1 connection (I think you can specify that more connections are ok).

I'm contemplating doing Priceline for Hawaii.....but I'm reading up a lot about it on www.biddingfortravel.com for tips.
