DH, DW and DD6 in August 2003.
Staying 6 nights/7 days at Coronado Springs Resort moderate.
Then 3 nights/4 days at Disney's Vero Beach resort Inn oceanview room.
Including 7 day Park Hopper Plus tickets.
How much do you think I paid for this?
Ballpark guess? Reply post and then I am going to put down the price.
Now, be serious. We are not getting the package as we found last time we didn't use the Ultimate pass on our last day. My plan was to get a 5 day PH+ for all three of us but a 7 day PH+ was cheap in comparison and we're going to just hold onto the extra 2 days until we use them years later.
So what's your guess?:Pinkbounc

OK, I'm going to put a guess on this, just because I'm so curious! LOL!! I'm going to say $2100 for all nights plus PH's. Am I close?

I'll put in a guess: about $2200.:):):)

1870-1900? I could always cheat & look it up!

Wow! You all are verrrry good. Exactly what I figured would happen if I posted this question here. Some very knowledgable people on this board!
Disney Club discount on room only for 6 nights at the Coronado Springs, 7 day Park Hopper + tickets for 2 adults and 1 child, and 3 nights at Disney's Vero Beach Resort:
Total with taxes - $2187
Right in the ballpark for most of you.
I am always amazed that those who haven't been to WDW or haven't been recently always think it's much more. Friends and family think we're rich when we say we're going again. They all quote, "What is Disney nowadays? Gotta be like $5,000 right?"
Nahhhhhhhhh. A moderate and a get away on the ocean for a little over just $2000. Not bad at all.
Now for those who quoted me signifigantly under my $2187, how do I get that rate???? For summer June, July or August (only times we can go with a teacher DW and a school age child (DD6) it seems to me that the Disney Club rate is pretty good.

A friend of mine is going in August & her travel agent told her that she thinks there will be better discounts available eventually. She has an AAA discount, which is the same as DC. I hope you get one too!

We go several times a year for a week and even bought AP's this year. We got the moderate for $79 with a postcard one week and $84 with codes (before taxes) this past year. We did Allstars for $49 with postcard and again this year $49 with AP. However, last year airfare from NY was only about $75 round trip. This year that's gone up double, and once we add food, that brings the price up a bit. If it's just the two of us, it's still a reasonable trip, but add the grands and they want snacks, souvenirs and 3 meals a day.
Is your food, airfare and shuttle or rental car in that $2200 figure? If not, that can add a lot to the price. I know some are porb wondering why their trip costs more, and that may be the reason. We eat the childs breakfast in the foodcourts and use connection voushers (shared) in the late afternooon to keep food prices down.

I'm going to be totally honest and say.....I have no clue! I've never been to Disney but I'm planning on going in August with my family. Please tell me what you paid and where you got the deal, if in fact it is a deal.

Thanks!
