It seems that most flights are going up again. We are flying into Tampa on 4/27/07 and out of Orlando on 5/4/07. We are not too picky regarding times and the cheapest I can get is $109 round trip per person plus taxes and fees. Should I book or wait for price to go down? In the past couple of years the most I have paid for a flight is $79 round trip per person plus taxes and fees. Not sure if I should risk the wait??

Personally I would be THRILLED with $109 Round trip. Based on what I have seen I doubt it's going to go lower.

Me too!!! I get all excited if I can get $79 each way, per person. So $109 per person r/t would be a gift!!! Grab it...don't think you'll see them go lower than that.

I agree, grab it while you can.

I'm looking at $265 on Southwest for 4/21 to 4/27, USAir almost $400. I'm waiting for a ding. Worse comes to worse, I will use my frequent flyer miles (double mile price).

Do you mean 109 round trip or one way? I can only find flights from CT for 218 round trip on Delta. If you have found a $109 RT flight please let me know where to look. I haven't paid more than $137 RT in the past few years and am having a hard time finding flights under $218.

$109 roundtrip is an incredible deal. Grab it before it is gone. Of course, the airline can't survive on airfares like that, so don't plan on seeing that kind of airfare very often.

$218 roundtrip is pretty normal these days. You could do a little better, but I find the stress of waiting around to save $30 or $40 (which is the most we typically end up being able to save) isn't worth it.

Well, we are not going in April like you, but we are going a heavily traveled week: the week of July 4th.

At first the rates were high ($300+) and I could only get something reasonable flying into Tampa and out of Orlando, so I waited. Then the end of November the flights into and out of Orlando from LGA went down to $217 RT so I booked them.;) Thankfully I did because I just checked yesterday and my flights are now $313!! :sad2: If you can get something around $200 RT I would take it.princess:
