Price Difference

Went to halloween horror nights last year and we stayed at the pbh.Loved it.Went on the universal website and got a price and then called them and got a different price.($200) difference.Cheaper by phone.Also it was only $5.00 more to stay at pbh than rph.Also got upgraded to deluxe when we got there.Why the price difference?

many vacation booking sites buy blocks of rooms at the hotels.

the ones they do not sell are released back to the hotels for renting.


cancellations of rooms are to be made 4 days prior without penalty.

when these rooms are released, many times the price drops on them for a quick booking.

the hotel would be aware of what rooms they have available before the rooms hit the system.
calling the hotel for last minute rooms can work out to be a sweet deal.


i know 4 years ago that happened at HRH to fill up the last minute rooms.

you got a great deal on your room last year.
cross your fingers that it happens again for you.
