Has anyone done a price adjustment with Alaska Airlines? They said I would get E-certificates good for another flight. I got a confirmation letter for my new tickets. But nothing about the E-certificates. Anyone have any info for me?

You will get it, if it's like our situation, in a couple days. It will also show up on each traveler's frequent flyer account.

Do they still have the policy of rounding UP to the nearest $25 from your credit? They had just started it in November when we got a credit of $25 each for a $5 drop in fare....the only bummer was that the rep I spoke to mis-spoke. When I got the later email and saw 25 each, I freaked out, and called, and it was a brand new policy (I wasn't told about it when I called for the credit). She said I could combine them for one credit, but I couldn't, just one per person/ticket.

So it will come to my email?

Yes, they do still do the $25 credit- ours would have been only $20. Bonus money. She asked me what name I wanted them under- she didn't say we couldn't use them all for one. I guess I will see.

Thanks for the info. We also have credits on Virgin America of $75 each that we haven't used due to having to fly out of Seattle and having their airfares go up. I'll have to see how I can use those.

Can you explain that further? Is it the same situation as with Alaska, or something altogether different?

Our discount codes came in email directly to me. Each ticket had been booked using each of our frequ flyer codes, so there was no asking who to put it towards, they just automatically went into the accounts. Well I found out they were in the accounts the other day...I thought they were just codes in an email.

It's from Customer.Care.Reply at alaskaair dot com, by the way. Mine was send Nov 16th, and I had called them on the 14th, and I had gotten the "this ticket is in exchange for that ticket" sort of email on the 14th.
