Has anyone heard if they will be offering previews of the new stunt car show at MGM?

We will be there April 17-20 and will be able to catch the Soarin' preview being offered to DVC members and annual passholders.

We saw a preview this past Thursday! It was excellent, the stunts are amazing!!! Can't wait to see it again in July! :sunny:

Thanks! How did you learn about it? Or did you just stumble onto it?

Great. We will look for it when we go.

We were there last Thursday and saw a sign at the front of the park saying it was 'now showing'. Talked to a CM and they reccomended getting a fast pass for it. Went back to the location got a fast pass no problem. Unfortunatley my middle child started complaning of an earache so we had to leave and did not get to see it. Also for Soarin' we are not DVC or annual passholders but were able to see it last Wednesday. Had to enter the back way -the regular entrance is still under construction. If you head back by Honey I shrunk the Audience and go right there were Soarin cast members directing people back through an 'alley' to the entrance. There were no signs that I noticed. That was an exhilerating ride. Loved it!

We were able to see the show last Thursday. We didn't see it advertised, but did hear some people talking about the only show for the day being at 1:00.

We received fastpasses for the show, but didn't need them. Actually the line to get in with the fastpass took us longer than the standby line where people just walked right in.

I know others love this show but we were somewhat disappointed. I realize that the show isn't "officially" open yet, and they even made a comment about the showing being a rehearsal, but the entire show seemed very disjointed to us. It didn't have good flow, and it seems like people weren't comfortable with what they were supposed to say or when. The stunts were good, but it seemed like so much of the same car chases over and over. On a limited size set I'm sure they don't have a lot of options, but I think it would be a much better show if they condensed it somewhat.

Part of the problem for us may have also been that we had just seen Indiana Jones and compared to how polished that show is, I didn't feel the stunt show was nearly as good.

Also, kind of related, is how much the backstage tour was changed to make room for the stunt show. The backstage tour now is primarily Catastrophe Canyon and a bunch of U turns created by the placing the stadium for the stunt show in the middle of the backstage tour.
