Preview of Simpsons wait in summer

Today, being memorial day weekend, we though today would be a good preview of what the summer days will be like at The Simpsons Ride.

Longest Standby Wait: 110 min.
Express: About 30 minutes. It was into overflow Express queue

I figured the line would be really long since it just opened. I went to Universal in the summer shortly after ROTM opened and the longest wait time with Express was 15 minutes. I'm gonna guess and say the lines will die down some by the time late summer rolls around and Express for the Simpsons will be less than half an hour.

With school getting out right now, the ride should be getting busier. If the ride is still busy by the time we go in late june, then it will just give us more time on other rides. Simpsons is a priority for us to ride, but probaly a one-timer, it's not a BTTF.

Yup, and guess who was there...

Man those guests were mad. They were even complaining that they were waiting too long, and they had Express!! I just said "At least you're not in the other line."

I think the long waits this weekend were caused at least partially by malfunctions. On Sun. we waited 20 in Express the first time. It was a little over 30 the second time, and they were making announcements about technical difficulties. We tried a third time, but after 30 mins. we were still down in the queue and they were still making annoucements that it was only running at partial capacity so we bailed.

We were there this past weekend too and we were able to ride 5 times (over 4 days). Our longest wait (with the express pass was about 45 minutes.

I did find that on Monday a lot of rides seemed to be down for technical difficulties in the morning.

We'll be back sometime in August (I hope).

We were there this weekend and were able to ride the Simpsons 3 times over 2 days. The Express line wasn't too bad. Sunday morning, we walked right on and we only waited about 10 minutes Monday afternoon.

Sunday evening was our longest wait the entire trip for any ride...about 30-40 mins in Express but only because the ride wasn't working for awhile. That still isn't too long considering the time out front said it was a 90min wait for the regular line.

Where I work, I'm seeing similar occurrences, Timmy.

Sunday the express wait was 30-45 mins and I told people in the express line that the regular line's wait was 2x-3x theirs.
