I got an a-mail about a special Annual Passholder preview of the new attraction Expedition Everest. January 26-29 is a preview of this new attraction. Each passholder can get a certificate and lanyard. I was thinking about going to this. Honestly, I don't think my kids care about the certificate. What they want is to be able to ride over and over again. Has anyone ever ridden an attraction before it opened? Does anyone know how it's set up? Can you ride it, then get back in line as for regular attractions? Or, is it just a one-ride preview, collect your certificate and lanyard and that is it? Is anyone else going to the preview? Thanks.

I took part in the AP preview of Soarin last year. I was on the first ride. :teeth: I didn't bother with the certificate (didn't even know there was one) or the pin.

It really was fun for the APassholders but not for all the other people who couldn't understand why they were being shut out and there were quite a few people who felt that way standing around the outside entrance.

I was able to go on 3 times but they made us get off the ride each time and start over. You can go on as many times as you want to.

Here's a couple of photos from that day.

It was really a fun experience and probably the first and only time I'll ever ride Soarin with NO wait.

I appreciate knowing how it works. Yeah, I can imagine how those people felt who couldn't be part of the group.
