prev. ap rates for sept for deluxe?

Does anyone recall what previous AP rates they may have gotten for a deluxe in value season? I'm going to WL this coming sept. and am trying to budget and would like to have some sort of estimate if i can.

This past September, I made Florida Resident Rate reservation for standard room at WL for $109.00+tax=$121.50. When I check-in was upgraded to inner Courtyard View.

Even though I am A DVC Member we love going to the Lodge for long week-end trips.

Corrected my post you guys are correct there where no AP rates for September (at the time I thought it may be do to the very active tropical storm season we where having)

FL Resident AP rates were released but there were no regular AP rates for last September, except for 1 hour in early August when they were released and then pulled back. They were running the special 7 nights for the cost of 4 package instead.

This past September (September of 2003) there were NO AP rates available. It was quite the controversy here on the DIS.

I would say your best bet is to book what you can with currently available discounts. (To the best of my knowledge, that would only be a AAA discount). Then, should AP rates become available, you could easily book what you wanted if a rate becomes available.

If you want more in depth info, mousesavers has a trend of historical discounts dating back to 2001.

Having said all that however, I think September of '03 was the first September in a while that no discounts were available simply because of the HUGE success of the Fairy Tale Package. A huge portion of the rooms were booked without discount codes, so they didn't need to release them.

that's what i thought. darn lol. i checked mousesavers already and noticed no discounts and figured it was because of the ft package. i have already booked my room, deluxe room at WL, i was just hoping for some sort of discount on it lol ah well. c'est la vie right?

There were no AP rates at the Disney Deluxe resorts during Sept of 2003.

In prior years the YC went for $169 plus tax for a standard view room and $179 or $189 plus tax for a water view room.

Right now I have a resort view room booked at the Dolphin with an AP rate of $172.50 a night plus tax and fees.
