My kids LOVE Le Cellier's pretzel bread (heck, my husband and I liked it, too) but we've only eaten there at dinner. Do they also serve it at lunch?

TIA,
Terry

I'm pretty sure they do. It's been a while since we had lunch there but I'm most certain they do, unless things have changed. We love it too and look forward to having some on every visit there. We have ADR'S there for a 1:00 lunch during our December trip, so I'm really hoping they have it.

We're going to be there in December as well, so now to see if we can even GET an ADR!

We have eaten lunch there once, about 3 or 4 years ago, and they did serve it at that time. We have our ADR for September for lunch instead of dinner too. (All of the dinner slots were already booked!) I was hoping for that yummy pretzel bread. I surely hope that it still comes at lunch. YUM!

:wave2: Not only do they serve it, my DH and I have been known to wrap the leftovers in a napkin and take it with us for a snack later. :lmao:

It is the most awesome stuff, especially dipped in cheese soup. Yummy. We are lucky enough to have many lunches there, because we are so close.

Don't worry they have it and if anyone sees you taking them the extras with you (they bring more if you eat the first ones), they'll just think tht you know us :thumbsup2

How is the lunch compared to dinner? I was wondering if they have most of the same items.

It's the same menu. Different portions and prices. We usually prefer to go for the last lunch reservations, instead of the early dinner.

What time is usually the last lunch? We have reservations at 6:00, but at home there are times we eat dinner at 4:30. I know, it's early...but everyone in the house is up early and eats lunch early.

TIA!

I didn't see the famous mushroom filet on the allearsnet lunch menu--anyone know if you can order it for lunch? Or is it strictly a dinner specialty? We couldn't get in for dinner, but have two lunches and dh might light to try this at one of them, if available. If not, we'll just enjoy the pretzel bread dipped in cheese soup!

that exactly what i wanted to know! I had already planned on getting the french dip sandwhich because I saw the mushroom fillet was not on the lunch menu..

Last Aug DS & I had lunch at LeCellier
This past March I brought a friend and her DD for lunch at LeCellier
This Aug my DH is joining DS & I for lunch at LeCellier
guess we enjoy it!

Yes they do serve them at lunch. I'm a fan of the pretzel and soup as well. Also, if you just want a pretzel fix, they also serve the soft pretzels at Sommerfest in Germany. It's CS so it's quick and cheap. My DH and I can make a meal of the pretzels and saurkraut! (Ok, for those of you who think I'm crazy, we're originally from NE PA so saurkraut is in our blood! :rotfl: )

I read somewhere that you can get just the pretzel bread at a kiosk in the Canada pavillion. I certainly hope thats true cuz I dont have adr's for Le Cellier on my upcoming trip to WDW, but I am dying to try this pretzel bread! I also heard that in order to get it at Le Cellier, youmust order the cheese soup, cuz the pretzel bread comes with that...is any of this true?

Dont know about the pretzel bread at a kiosk but no they bring out the bread even if you dont order the soup all though I always do its delicious but they bring out pretzel bread like any other restaurant brings out bread..

There is no kiosk where they sell the breadsticks. However, if you are craving the pretzel sticks and cheese soup and can't get an ADR, good news! You can simply go up to the front desk and order take out :thumbsup2 . We did this twice on our trip last year and loved it. We just took it and sat on their stone bench outside and enjoyed a nice quick lunch. :)

Is it still $4 for an order of 3 to go? do they get stale too quick?
Can we ask our waitress at lunch to add an order to go? or do we need to ask at the checkin stand? DS & I had these breadsticks last Aug (and I again this past March) and they ARE really good!

I cannot remember the price, it was a year ago that we did this. We sat in this past June inside the restaurant. But that sounds about right.

We got an order of cheese soup and breadsticks to go last time we were there. We didn't have ADRs, so we just walked in and asked at the stand if we could get a bowl and some breadsticks. I remember it was quite pricey...something like $15.00...I would pay it again, though!! :thumbsup2

BTW, we ate ours right away, so I don't know if they get stale quickly or not!! ;)
