I read about the pressed penny machines at the parks, and I think it's something my 4-year-old would enjoy.

Does anyone have a list of where these machines are located?

Thanks in advance for your help!

In a word..........Everywhere........

You can find these things everywhere and anywhere........ on the property...........and sometimes two or three in the same location............

Have fun!!!!!!

As was stated they are EVERYWHERE... the front desk at any of the Disney hotels should have a list (which of course might not have ALL of them but is a good start) I had one somewhere, but can't seem to find it. I would start there when you arrive :)

I thought it was would be great too and brought along our M&Ms tube filled with quarters and pennies. Our boys (2 & 4) loved doing it. However, a suggestion to you is to check all machines before bringing your child up to them. I found quite a few to be not working and my boys were VERY upset. Have fun!

Thanks for all the info!

DawnMaree,
I did the same thing as you...I've got those M&M tubes filled with coins and ready to go!

We leave tomorrow morning...can't wait!!!

Prescription Medicine bottles work well, too. I used one on this last trip. It held less quarters/pennies, but that cut down on the weight. (Oh, my back!)

Now, what do folks do with these pennies and quarters once they are pressed?

My mother and father hit every machine, in every park, every hotel, and ever location on Disney property. They ended up spending over $400 to get everything, including pennies and quarters. She framed everything and filled a whole wall with frames.

It took them about 3 days to hit every machine in the 'World'. :earsboy: :earsboy:

You can put them in a pressed penny book that they sell at WDW. My boys enjoyed doing this too.

How much to these pressed wonders cost? KIS
A pressed penny is $0.51. I think a quarter is $1.25. I'm unsure of the quarters because we decided long ago to just stick with the pennies (less expensive).

So, it's two quarters per penny? That's a reasonable way to engage kids, huh?

 Can someone advise the cost of the "pressed pennies" booklet you can purchase at WDW? Or has anyone purchased one off-site, such as thru ebay or a local Disney store? My daughter and grandkids are going to Disney with us in May and she is looking for an inexpensive souvenir. She intends to make a "game" out of hunting for the pressed penny machines while on our trip.

Just found previous posts on the cost of the pressed pennies book! Should have checked further before posting message above.:o
