Hi

Most of the machines take two quarters. We tried to find our best shiny pennies to be pressed.

Rub your pennies with "Daddies" sauce (or equivalent), they'll come up nice and shiny.

Learnt that from John Noakes on Blue Peter in the 60s :teeth:

You can buy a pressed penny presentation book as well to store your pennies in :)

The pressed pennies are great! My DS loved to do them - almost got a bit compulsive. I remember seeing a list somewhere of all the ones you can get - but can't remember now!!!!

We're gonna give this a go next year. DD's done the pin trading, Epcot passport and mask making ect (which i'm sure we will be doing all over again!) but it will be nice to have something new to do. Thanks everyone for the info! :earsgirl:

Didn't Kaylee start the pressed penny list. There are also machines which press a quarter for you but they need 4 quarters to do it.
I have one of these from our '99 trip and I did it in the shop just at the entrance to the World Showcase in Epcot. It has the symbol for all 4 parks.
