Pressed Coins & Universal Dollars??

Hi all first time post so sorry for any errors.

Me and the bunch are heading off to Orlando in 4 weeks time and my DS has asked if Universal have the pressed coin machines like Disney and Seaworld and also if they do anything like Disney Dollars?

Also is there a quieter time to go to the universal parks i.e first thing, later in the day etc?

Yes they do have the pressed coins! My daughters have one from each gift shop. I know they are in all of the gift shops, can't remember if they are anywhere else in the park.

You can purchase Universal Dollars at Guest Services.

The best time to be in the parks is at park opening. Be there waiting and be one of the first inside the turnstiles.

pressed coins in the shops the rides empties into.
spidey coins in the spidey shop etc...

We found it a good time to go at park opening and maybe after 6...usually thats when the day-trippers start heading out and leave the park to the onsite guests.
Once it hits like 12 or 1 its really crowded.

there are pressed penny machines everywhere...and most have like 3 designs to choose from so bring alot of new shiney pennies and lots of quarters.
