DH and I decided to travel to WDW over his President's week off from CT schools later than usual because extended family from TX, CA, IA have finally planned to go on a cruise in April (when I would rather be at Flower and Garden 
). We looked into 1 BR at OKW and could book Monday to Thursday nights -- no Sundays open. Just two weeks later, our Sunday has come through.
Have to say we have had generally great luck using the waitlist. And to add I was talking to MS about another matter and the first thing the CM said was "we've got a waitlist match." So I don't really know anything new about the auto waitlist.
