President's Week

My family is debating if we should do a DL in February for President's week while my kids are on Winter Break. We have been to WDW many times and have always taken the kids out of school to go while attendance in the parks were low. This year I will be working as a Kindergarten Aide at school so I do not have the luxury of taking the kids or myself out of school. So what do you guys think? Will it be too busy at DL just like it is at WDW??? Or do more people go to WDW during President's week than DL? I know that at least President's Day weekend itself will be crazy. Or should we just go in the summer?

Summer crowds and President Week crowds are about the same I think and I have gone once during Presidents Week and twice during summertime. Any day of the year, WDW is more crowded than DLR, just because of the size and WDW is capable of holding more people. It will be somewhat busy at DLR during that week, but certainly not unmanageable. If you keep reading tips from this board, you can still wait in very short lines during the somewhat busy time.

we are going Presidents week too. I already got the airline tickets, so that is when we are going. We are spending the first few days of our vacation with family in the area, I plan on then going to DL on that Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and we leave for home on Sunday. I hope it wont be that crowded towards the end of the week!!!
