I know people hate these types of questions, but I'm asking anyway...;)

Are the crowds President's Week comprable to the crowds the same week at WDW? Before we went to WDW last year, we heard how horrifically croweded it would be - but we got there early, left after lunch, and went back at night - and really avoided a lot of the crowds.

Just wondering what my plan for US/IOA should be...are express passes needed this week? (I know, you can't tell the future, but I sure would like you all to try!) :rotfl:

Here's the rule of thumb: if its busy at disney, it will be busy at Universal. Second rule of thumb: Get there early. This works for disney, it works for Universal. Hope this helps.

i went once during presidents week and its was dead you could walk off a ride and run on again with no wait it was disney that was crowded but no one seemed to be at IOA or US

We went to Universal during president's week in 2006 and then the same week last year to Disney. It definitely felt more crowded at Disney. We ended up buying the Express Pass for Universal one day because it seemed like the lines were super long for the really popular rides we hadn't been able to get on the other 2 days.

Definitely get there before open and that helps a lot!

We're heading back to Universal for Feb 08 and staying on-site, so we'll be enjoying the Express Lane the whole entire time!!!
