President's Week..When do the CROWDS begin?

I know President's Day is on Monday, February 21st in 2005..and everybody says how crowded President's Week is...When would President's "WEEK" begin?....the week before or the week after? I know the weekend will be crowded....

We were there the week before President's Day last year. I noticed a big increase in crowds the Friday before, which was our last day there.

here in new york we are off the week after. When we went during this week we did the space center on monday because i think all the schools are off that day. Rosie was taping her show that week and we avoided those parks on those days. All in all I didn't find it too bad but if you want to avoid crowds I would go the week before the schools are out. Keep in mind the park hours will be shorter if the schools aren't out.
