We've done presidents week many times arriving on the actual holiday Monday and staying the week. Wondering how that compares to a mid march visit?

Next year our public schools have an Easter/Passover split with each holiday getting a few school days off instead of the usual longer break.

Since we don't celebrate Passover I thought it might be a good time to head to WDW. How would crowds compare? Is mid March much busier?

Next year Passover is the end of April. Easter is in March. We're you thinking of going in March or April?

I completely had it wrong!!! I thought Passover was in March!!! So now my question is how will the crowds be in April? Thanks for the helpful information. :)

We are hoping to go Passover Week, too. All of the schools where we live have that week off next year, but I am thinking most places will still have their spring break in March. The same thing happened in 2008 and we went Passover week and loved it. The weather was perfect and the Flower and Garden Festival was going on. I loved seeing all of the topiaries. I do enjoy going President's week too, though, because it is so nice to escape the cold!

I am so happy that I can go in April for the Flower and Garden show!!!! A whole week instead of a few days!!!! Yipeeeeeeeee!!

Aren't Easter and Passover connected? (first full moon of spring, Last Supper/ Holy Thursday was a Passover meal) They're always within a week or so of each other at the most extreme.

My school district always alternates the center of spring break between Passover at the beginning or Easter at the beginning (but I'm pretty sure Good Friday is always a day off).

Nope. Easter is on March 27 next year, and Passover starts on April 22 -- almost a month apart.
