While on the flight home DW and I were talking about what a good time we had adn how we would love to go back again soon. Since we are both teachers it's either Feb. or April break. We went once in April and it was crazy, so we decided on Feb. 18-23. How bad is it going to be? Thanks. :thumbsup2

hi,

President's Day week is very busy from Saturday till around Thursday, when the crowds start to thin out a bit.

It's not "Christmas busy" or "July 4 busy," but you'll have lots of company!

Also, be prepared to pay top dollar for flights, even on Southwest from Islip.

According to Touring Plans predictions, on a scale of 1 to 10, that week is listed as 8's. Doable, but plan accordingly.

Thinking about investing in tour guide mike for the week.

We were there for President's Week last Feb..

And we're used to January "crowds".

Just so you have a frame of reference:)
We didn't find it too bad. But we got there every morning before opening at every park, hit the highlights, and then had a great rest of the week.

Yep, waitimes were long after 11:00 in the mornings - we stood in line for BTMRR for over 90 minutes (our one no FastPass mistake) But we made some new friends from Louisiana, and just had fun:)

HTH!!

:sunny:

President's week is also Mardi Gras week this year...so expect crowds from Louisiana.
