President's Day Weekend

Hi,

I’m thinking of doing a quick Sat - Mon solo trip to DL over Presidents Day. I imagine the parks will be fairly busy.

I love meeting the characters in special/different outfits - gutted I will have missed Lunar NY. Do you think any of the Valentine’s Day stuff will still be up? Any characters in different outfits? Has Oswald been around lately?

Thinking of staying in an Airbnb and ubering to DL.

I'm not too fussed about riding rides, mainly characters, street entertainment and food. This would be my fourth visit.

Just a heads up that that weekend may be more busy than you think. Various posts here are saying that, in addition to Valentine's Day and President's Day Weekend, that is also a holiday weekend for Canadians, the beginning of Ski Week for local schools, and there is a cheer convention/competition at the ACC. Any time at DLR is better than nothing, but bring patience and good planning skills.

I feel like when the parks are super crowded, there aren’t as many roaming characters. Just an observation. I could be wrong!
