President's Day Crowds

I am the "go to" gal for our friends, family, and employees for planning Disney vacations. I have been asked to help my hairdresser plan a trip for her family. She has kids in school, so that is a consideration. In addition, she is pregnant and expecting August first, so the latest they could make a trip is the last part of the week before Memorial Day.

So, that leaves President's Day Weekend and May 26-31.

Normally, I would avoid President's Day as much as possible, but due to the bizarre shift in attendance in 2009, I am considering that as my primary recommendation. All of the Passes, except for the Premium, will be blacked out the Saturday and Sunday of President's Day Weekend.

So, my question is, do others think that this once very crowded date might experience the same kinds of low crowds we saw on Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday of 2009?

Last year that weekend there was a line for the mens room... at DCA

For me that spells crowded... also many so cal schools are off from the 12th- 22nd for ski week.
