I was too young to vote during his Presidencies, but I adored this wonderful man. I always felt like he was a grandfather figure for our whole country. And that he would protect us; he did. And that I trusted his judgement.

While we grieve our nation's loss today, in the future, we will celebrate President Reagan's accomplishments.

Godspeed Mr. President. And God bless Mrs. Reagan.

First, I did not read all the responses here.
I did cry when I heard the the news.
It is not whether or not you liked President Reagan's policies, or if you liked Ronald Reagan the man.
The point is that an American that gave his heart and soul to the USA has passed.

God bless President Ronald Reagan.

President Reagan will be sorely missed.:( God be with Nancy and his children in the following days. One cannot help but admire the protectiveness Nancy showed toward her "Ronnie",
"Through sickness and in health".

I'm comforted to know that he no longer suffers.

I spent the day sulking today. I am glad his suffering is over, but it truly is a very sad day for the county. I wish everyone who'd run for president, would have his integrity and convictions. He always said, do the right thing and politics would work itself out. I wish all politicians held this belief.

Prayers to his family, and may you RIP Mr. President, you will be remembered, always.

A great man, a great President. He deserves our respect and honor.

one of the best quotes he ever said.

quote:Van Helsing
Well said - Goodbye Mr Reagan

btw VH, its President Reagan

He is whole again!!

Rest in Peace Mr. President.

A sad day. :( No matter how you felt about the man or his politics, no one can deny the impact he had on the world.

BTW, not to start a debate about it, but I checked some etiquette sites and the proper title for a former POTUS is not "President" but rather "Mister", presumably out of respect for the current President that there is only one President of the US.

Rest in peace, Mr. Reagan. You served your country well.

maybe disney should change the name to " Hall Of Misters"

out of respect to the man who was perhaps one of the greatest Presidents of all time, i think maybe we can give him his due and call him Mr. President.
looking back over this thread almost everyone addressed him as that.

i may not like him, but i would still afford President Clinton the same respect by calling him Mr. President.

Why do you try to point score at a time of sorrow

not to sure what you mean VH?

myself i think the man deserves the respect by calling him President Reagan.

just like i would afford the same respect to Prime Minster Thatcher.
she may no longer be the Prime Minster, but i wouldnt call her mrs.thatcher out of respect.

maybe thats the difference between you and i.

im talking about someone who just pasted away and deserves the respect of a title, and your worried about some sort of point thing.

and to use a quote from his speech when we lost the Challenger crew

he has now...............................

"slipped the surly bonds of earth" to "touch the face of God." (that quote always catches my breath)

My symapthies to his family and to all that knew him and to those who were touched by his dignity and grace.

He was truly a great man. My prayers are with his family.

Thank you for all you did for this country. While we lost you a while ago, I now pray that you have finally found peace.

Prayers and sympathy to President Reagan's family and friends. And Bravo Nancy for always being there and protecting him and his image during these trying years.

When I was eating on my lunchbreak yesterday at 12, I was a news bulletin about how his health was going downhill, and I felt horrible. I was very shocked to come home at 5 to see that he had passed away.

Before my father passed away, he always spoke about how Reagan was the last good President that we had...and I do agree with that. Rest in peace...and prayers for Nancy and the rest of the family.
