I might not agree with all his ideas, but I can already see that he is beginning to pick up the huge mess that Bush left behind.

That doesn't stop the discrimination and prejudice. After the civil war, blacks were still spit on, not allowed in certain restaurants/shops/hotels/etc, and not equal at all. They're still fighting for it.

Minorities don't just fight for their rights, they fight for equality.

The vice president is the head of the senate, and a sort of advisor to the president. He's pretty important.

debate does not usually include persuading the other party to give in an take your side.
no one is asking you to change your views, just like no one is going to change their views.
you just have to be ready to back up your statements, especially such bold ones as hating your president.

Debating is about making the other side understand your opinion, and to maybe broaden their mind on the subject. You have yet to make me understand why you 'hate' Obama so much.

I just think that the people who hate him that much see what they want to see in him. They didn't like him in the beginning, so they created reasons to loathe him with every ounce of their being.

I STRONGLY DISLIKE him. I'm against many of his policies, I think the stimulus package is going to do more bad then good, and I don't like how he's not keeping any of his campaign promises. He promised all troops out of IRaq by 2010, now most will still be there untill 2012!!!!! And I stil haven't heard anything about his promised tax cuts for everyone making less then $130,000.

Just reminding people why I dislike Obama

Oh and to add one thing. I dont like how he's going to take off the ban on stem cell research
