Just got back from 8 days and wanted to put down a few notes before I forget
Dates 2/17/04-2/24/04
Two days - Low 60's - While it's definitely better than the 20's I left behind, it's still a bit cool to be standing in line. And with those temps no one is at the water parks or hanging by the pools, so I think the theme parks are busier.
One day - rain all day it went from light misting to torrential downpour.Out of 12 hours at the parks and least 8-9 of it was very steady rain. Luckily, it was high 70's so we survived with ponchos. Fantasmic was cancelled, Wishes and Illuminations went on as scheduled.
Overall, crowds were much heavier than I remember a year ago at this time. All main attractions were posting 40-90 minute waits at most times during the day. One morning we got to Test Test Track by 9:25 and the wait was already 40 minutes, Fast PAss return was at 12:20. We did single rider and luckily that was a walk on.
If we go next year at this time, we'll have to go back to "commando" planning if we want to see alot.
