Prepping for the world....

Im 22 days out from my next trip to Disney World.
Now a seasoned traveler, and Disney lover I am finding myself in what I refer to as the "Disney Zone"
I am in super duper mommy planning/packing/cleaning mode and am wondering how other people get ready for their trips.

Right now:
* I have my running list of 'to do's'
* I am packing our Disney box, which I send down to BLT (Diapers, wipes, snacks, toiletries)
* I am breaking in and putting mileage on my new sneakers (which I love like crazy)
* I am over cleaning everything in my house. I know its not necessary, but I just always do this.
* Finishing any last minute shopping for stuff I need
* Decorating Magic Bands
* Thinking of everything I can possibly do on this trip to make my best friend, who is joining us and hasn't been since '95, want to join us every single time!


So, tell me what are some of your traditions and how do you prepare?
I am excited to know what others do.

No traditions here since this is our first visit! We are 2 weeks away from jumping on a plane to the US though, so starting next week, I'm going to be laying out everyone's clothing, toiletries, passports, medications, and anything else so I don't forget anything! My husband thinks I'm nuts starting next week, but he's the guy that throws a few things in a bag and goes away. It's not like we're just going a few hours away, we're heading to a different country and going on a cruise as well!

27 days until I jump on a plane from Iowa to Tampa and then drive to Orlando. Going May 1-8 (May 2-8 at the parks). Hitting all 4 parks and probably MK a 2nd time. Staying off-site in Kissimmee with rental car.

I printed off the ultimate packing list and I edited it add/remove items to take with. I started packing some of the items I've bought (rain ponchos, flavor drink powder, ziploc bags, beach towels, swimsuits.

I received Disney World tickets yesterday in the mail from UT. I linked them last night on MDE and setup FP+ for 3 days so far. I'll setup FP+ for remaining 2 days this weekend.

I've been looking at all the DW forums for the latest news/tips while listening to music from the parks.

Went to MK back in 2009. Haven't been to all 4 parks since 2006.

Uber-excited for this trip!

We are 43 days out. I actually started making my packing list today. I plan on firming up our iternary this weekend. I've started making up travel binders and bags for the kids.
I'm crazy and like to be prepared..Plus we have a busy month coming up and I don't want to forget something.

Oh heck yes. Let's see, the other night I decided to vacuum out the vent to the furnace, then the windows in our bedroom apparently needed washing at 9pm...today I decided to full on declutter/clean the living room, and made the mistake of moving the woodbox after 8 months of burning wood - massive pile of wood chips/dust behind it that took a good 15 minutes of vacuuming and scrubbing to clean up....

I need help. Or not. Within the next 2 weeks my house should be show-room ready.

Suffice it to say my pre-trip anxieties are in full swing.

stay up way too late the night before because I am still packing frantically and also too excited to sleep!
