Have a business trip in SoCal next week, and have decided to fly in a bit early so I can visit the Disneyland parks for the day. Currently planning on getting a hopper, but that might change. A few questions:

-Regarding flights, I can either get to LAX at 8:00 am or SNA at 9:15 am (which requires a connecting flight). Assuming no hiccups with the connection, which would put me at DLR faster if I were to go straight there? Would be carrying on either way.

-Is there a place to store luggage at DLR? Trying to avoid having to make a stop by my hotel en route if I can help it.

-Which rides have single riders lines right now? Related question, I recall on my last trip that some of the rides that have a singles line weren't using them (e.g., Indy). Is there a way to know under what circumstances they will suspend the single rider lines?

-Finally, are there still FPs that are disconnected from the system? Which attractions?

Thanks for the insight!

There are lockers where you could store a small carryon on the DTD side of the esplanade in the picnic area, which is before the bag check. They won't let you take a wheeled back or suitcase into the parks, so I'd recommend parking at M&F or you'll have to wait for a security escort to cross the esplanade to put the bag in a locker.

LAX or SNA an hour and 15 minutes apart would be about equal. A rental car is probably easier at SNA since LAX is all off site. With LAX being farther away there is more chances that something will happen ahead of you as rush hour develops, but you can generally get around that with Waze. I'm not sure how many alternative routes you'd find at 9:15 to avoid traffic if you need to.

They close single rider when there are already a lot of single riders waiting. I've seen it on Indy and Matterhorn recently. There's no way to tell, just go by and ask.

Single Rider: Disneyland: Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain. DCA: Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin', California Screamin'. As the PP mentioned, they will cut-off the single rider line if it gets too crowded.

I believe the only FPs that are disconnected are World of Color and Fantasmic.
