prepaying hotel

We are going to WDW in april, can I reserve a room now and make payments so its all paid off when we get there. My other ?? is if a package I cant resist comes out in the meantime can I roll my room only money into a package.

Yes you can reserve a room now & make payments to pay it off. If you switch to a package, it depends on how you paid. If by check they can transfer the payments. If by credit card they have to credit your account back. You have to make a $200 deposit on a package & once the credit comes back you can reapply it to the package.

If you book through disney:
Room only: within 14 days of making reservation you must pay a deposit of one night at hotel including taxes. The rest is not due until check in, however they will take payments as you want until then.

Package: $200 deposit within 14 days of making reservation, remainder due in full 45 days prior to trip

If you find a discount code and want that sometimes it can be applied to your exsisting ressie sometimes they have to cancel it and create a new one. If they do that the money cannot be transferred to the new ressie they have to refund it to you however it was paid and then charge you new.
