Good morning everyone,

I am planning a trip for my family of four (DH, DS6, DS8) and another family of four (DW, DH, DD7, DS5). Her 180+ day is May 19 and mine is May 20. We are linked through MDE. Can I book reservations for all of us on the 19th or do I have to wait until the 20th? She is a Disney newbie and is counting on me to make the plans.

With that out of the way, here is what we are going for and the priority list. Please let me know if you would move certain reservations higher or lower on this. I have put the party size after the restaurant in case that matters in the decision.

1. Mama Melrose dinner Fantasmic package (8)
2. Crystal Palace dinner (8)
3. Cape May Cafe dinner (8)
4. Biergarten dinner (8)
5. 1900 Park Fare dinner (4)
6. Beaches and Cream dinner (8)
7. Cape May Cafe breakfast (4)

I would love to hear what you think and what I should change. Thanks for the advice :littleangel:

If you are booking on your account, then you will have to wait until the 20th. She could however book for everyone on the 19th.

I don't know if I would change anything that you would have listed.

She could book the ADR's for the both of you on May 19th so long as you are linked on MDE....she will just make the one ADR for a party of 8. She could technically make the other's for you as well, but they will be on her MDE...just linked with yours. The only issue that might arise would be on the days that your two families dine at other locations at potentially the same timeframe....I don't believe that MDE would allow her to make an ADR at say Crystal Palace (for her family) at noon and then another at say Hollywood and Vine at noon (for your family)due to overlapping.

I am doing all of the ADR's for my family and then my in-laws and the ADR's that we're doing together are all made for party of 7 on my MDE account (we are linked). I only say this because when I tried to book an ADR at 1900 park Fare for noon for DH, DD and myself it wouldn't allow me to proceed to make the ADR because I had made an ADR on my account for my MIL, FIL an nephews at TH in the AK at noon on the same day and due to the timeframe it only gave me the option to cancel the TH ADR before I could make the 1900 PF ressie. MIL gave me access to her MDE account and I logged in to hers and made their separate ADRs that were just for them that way. Otherwise, I believe it will be fine.....but someone may be able to help you more.....just thought I'd share my experience. I just figured that it was easier for me to book us all under one party since were doing most meals together instead of trying to coordinate ADR's for the same timeframe at the same restaurants.

Thanks for the advice. We should be okay on overlapping part but I hadn't even thought of that. Her party if 4 ressie is for arrival day for her, then we have 5 reservations together, and then I have my party of 4 departure breakfast. Fingers crossed we can get what we want.
