Prepaid photo CD?

DOes anyone have a link to the prepaid photo CD for Disney World in Florida? TIA!

Unfortunately they recently changed how they are doing the prepaid CD. You can only get the link in an e-mail they send you. And you only get that if you booked through Disney Travel Company. We are going in less than 2 weeks and I just ordered it. I read some where else here on the boards that DVC members staying on points can't even get it. We are DVC members but we are doing this trip as a package since we are out of points and my in-laws are paying for it. I'm hoping by the next time we go to a DVC resort on points they will change it like they did the meal plan.

I checked the old link that I had and it comes up as the page is no longer available. Stinks.

Apparently DVC members are now able to call MS who will confirm they are staying on points and then send the email with the code. Some have reported you have to be within 45 days to call and others have said within 10 days of the start of your stay. Anyway - the discount is available at this time.

figures... i find out 2 weeks too late....paid full price minus a lousy $15 'coupon' they were offering thru 11/15

Thanks Kathy! I did not know this. I'm glad the pre-order discount is available for DVC members. We should be able to get it!

I also was just made aware of no more prepay Photopass cd. I returned last month and just got done with my cd online. in fact, just got it today in the mail. Went to the prepay site I have saved and it wasn't available. Then came looking on these boards to find info and I did on this thread. How helpful everyone is.
I am returning to disney in May 2010 but this time I am not booking the trip. my friend is that is a dvc member and we are staying in a dvc club. I sure hope we can get this Photo cd before and pay less. does anybody know the price?
I truely feel after getting the Photopass for 3 years straight it is a great investment. I love making one picture and ending up with 10 different borders. very slow process but I get it done.
I do know if I cannot get the photopass on my next visit I will be really bummed out. I will be telling my girlfriend to call right away and get this code you are talking about.
So I guess this means we cannot walk up to any photopass cm and ask for a card anymore. Come to think of it, when I got my before info from disney for this trip I just returned from, I had a photo pass card in it to use. but I didn't and just asked for one when I seen a CM.
So anybody know the before pre order price?

Sandy, I pre-ordered the CD for our trip tomorrow and it was $99.95. You should be able to get a card from any Photopass photographer. We usually have more than one between us.

So how did you go about calling Dvc? did you have to give your reservation number to get the Photopass?
It was so easy before. Just go online and order it. get to Disney and get a card. This last time we had 2 cards.I do not like changes.
I would like to order it this without my girlfriend finding out.
Last time I pre ordered the photopass was 3 months before I went to disney. I had no idea I could do this the day before like you just did. I find alot from these disney boards. Thanks for all the info.

Photopass info.
So as I read this info, we must have a reservation at a disney Resort to get a prepaid Photopass now? right? as long as they give us a code? So, if I do not have a reservation on Disney property I cannot get a photo pass at all? Or can I get a photo pass when I get down there and pay full price. I do not like changes but what to be right about this info to pass it along to friends that are going down soon and plan to get a photo pass at full price.

MS is member services and handles DVC reservations.

My impression is that the discount is now only for those staying onsite. You still should be able to purchase the photo pass at full price if you are off site.

Sandy, I think if you call Member services they will e-mail you the link to pre-order the CD. We are not staying at a DVC resort this time. We booked a package and got an e-mail that had PhotoPass info in it. I'm not even sure if it mentioned the discount in the e-mail but it was on the site with the link in the e-mail. If you are staying off property you can still get a photopass card and pay full price for the CD after you return home. I know some one who went recently and wasn't that pleased with the photopass pictures and decided not to order the CD for the steep price. Hope that helps.

THanks for the info. For 3 years getting the pre paid Photopass I have never been dissatified. I had 120 photos taken this time and only 1 was bad/blurry. I do think the process of 30 days to crop and border all photos is too short of a time.But I made it and have the cds in my hands to print as I wish. We always had a package deal at disney resorts that I booked myself. This time I am staying with a friend at a dvc club resort. All I care about is getting that code for the Photopass for us. Prepay is the only way I would get the cd. all the borders that are available to you. If you don't get prepay, no borders are offered to you. I know this because the first year I got the photopass in the park and brought it home with me, what a mistake. You learn new tricks everytime you go down to disney and from reading these boards her on the Dis.Thanks so much for your help.
