Prepaid Gift cards??

Our adult Children sent us a prepaid Master Card Gift Card(says Debit on the face of it) and I was told to have fun on them while I'm at WDW, This is a wonderful surprise, but has anyone used these kinds of cards.

Do you need a pin code while using the card??.
Do you use them like the Disney Gift Card??
And will places at WDW or around town accept it??.

In my experience they can be a pain. Just in case it might be easier to take them to the grocery store and buy Disney gift cards.

I didn't think you could use a gift card(debit or not) to buy a Gift Card.
