Hey Everyone,

Coming back to the Fort next spring break, just made reservations. This will be our fourth trip since 2009. We have always stayed in the preferred, loop 300, in fact it has been site 313 the last three trips. Prior stays have been awesome. I was thinking of trying the premium sites, I kinda like the larger pads and less of the sand. Wouldn't mind trying something closer to the pool. Any recommendations?

Are you staying in 300 because you need a pet loop? If not, the 1400 loop is pretty popular. An easy walk to the campfire/movie and not far from the Meadows and the pool. If you need a pet loop, I'd try for 600. It is a short walk over the bridge to get to the pool.

On our first trip in March 2011, I picked preferred because that's where my parents would stay some 40 years ago. We liked the spot so the next two times I just requested the same spot because we enjoyed that area never even realizing it was a pet loop. Now, last night I couldn't get a preferred so I just booked a premium. Now, I just need to research some loops.

The funny thing about that spot, all three times at the same spot, three different trips, had the same neighbor each time.

That's kind of scary. And you getting the same site 3 times in a row.

I love the 100 loop. Request it every time. I've gotten it twice (different sites), 200 loop once, 1400 loop (upgrade) once. Before that, I just took where they gave me and I don't even remember what type of site I requested.

We are going down in September and were thinking about a premium but right now we have reserved preferred. We stayed in loop 1500 last time and it was good. I like being a little bit further away from the Settlement area just so we get to wave at more people as we drive by on our golf cart lol. We literally drove through every loop last time we were down and if I was to do premium I would recommend loop 700 because they had great privacy on the sides and felt very woodsy.
