Okay. Finally did it. Booked the premium plan for 1 night when we go in November. Now to figure out what to do both days.
Thanks! Here's what I jotted down as my plan for the 2 days. We will have a car, so getting from place to place should be quick.Congratulations on your booking Premium plan! Whatever you choose to do... you will have the trip of a lifetime!
We got back all our confirmation numbers from the IPO at WL for our early Nov Plat stay. Everything appears to be in order. They got everything booked at the exact times we wanted. The only thing not booked was Sammy Duvall stuff that I don't think we even need to reserve like wave runners. It is listed as being reserved later though. They also have a note that they'll keep checking Wild Africa Trek for me too. So far I'm really happy with themMy cost was $953 and my guesstimate on value for what we have reserved is $2485 (plus close to another $400 if WAT joins the Plat plan). No V and A's even as I don't want to torture them with my food allergies and a teen too young for most tours......
I think I'm close to finalizing our one night Platinum plan...plan. I would greatly appreciate some advice from the experts here. You have all been so helpful! Please let me know if you think Option One or Two is best:
Option 1
Day One:
Check in 6:30am (ouch)
8am-10am: Epcot Around the World Tour
11am-1pm: Sammy Duvall Watersports (I will stay until about 12:30 and take monorail to GF. DH will stay a little extra to enjoy whatever he likes)
1:30pm: Massage at GF for me
1:30pm DH will go meet the grandparents and our son (they will not be on the platinum plan) for a round of mini golf
2:30-3pm DH and I return to YC
5pm-9pm: V&A's Chef's Table (upgrade to Chef's Table)
Day Two:
8am-9am: Meet grandparents and DS for breakfast at Cape May's
10am-11am: DH goes to Richard Petty Ride Along
10am-11am: Facial for me (DH doesn't like spas and it is totally beyond me to waste a spa credit if I don't have to)
1pm-3:30pm: Downtown Disney including boat rental
4pm: Fulton's
6pm-7:30pm: La Nouba
8pm: Wishes Cruise (departs at 8:30pm)
Option 2
Day One:
7:30am: check into YC (a little more reasonable)
9am-10am: DH & I breakfast at Kona Cafe in Poly
10:30am-12:30pm: Sammy Duvall Watersports (parasailing, watercraft)
1pm: Massage for Me @ GF
1pm: Richard Petty Ride Along for DH
2:30pm: return to YC
5pm-7:30pm: V&A's main dining room
8pm: Wishes Cruise (departs at 8:30pm)Day Two:
8am-10am: Epcot Around the World Tour
11am: Facial for me at GF or SS
11am: DH meets DGP and DS for mini golf (if DS is not napping at this time)
2pm: Boat Rental at Downtown Disney/walk around
4pm: Fulton's
6pm-7:30pm: La Nouba
7:30pm - on: visit shops in Downtown Disney
So, which option do you think would work best? Any suggestions? Thanks!![]()
I gave IPO my reservations today for November and they said it is not included on the Platinum Plan at this time but if anything changes they will let us know. I hope they add it!
This is what I have so far:
Day 1
Check in to Wilderness Lodge around 7am to get keys
Snack #1-Roaring Fork, pick up mugs
830am-1030am-Wilderness Back Trail Segway ($95.85 x 2)

1230pm-130pm-Snack #2/light meal Roaring Fork
130pm-3pm-Deluxe Parasailing Tandem and Single, Tubing, Jet Ski Free Ride ($195, $130 x 2, $85, $80 x 2)
330pm-430pm-Massages at Sturdy Branches WL ($120 x 2)
530pm-830pm-Victoria and Albert's ($125 x 2)
830pm-930pm (aprox)-Wishes Fireworks Cruise ($350 aprox)
Day 2
Room Service Breakfast (OOP) or Snacks

1230pm-3pm-Aqua Seas ($149.10 x 2)
330pm-5pm-Fulton's Crab House ($150 aprox)
6pm-730pm-La Nouba ($105 + tax x 2)
830pm-10pm-California Grill (mostly for sushi as we will probably still be stuffed from Fulton's)
CD $99
I may add on a room only night the night before or after our plan. I am thinking before to see the beach movies and relax at the pool.
I added everything up and we are at a little over $3,000 for the 2 days! Even with the extra $169 I am paying for the room (no discount,) the $458 for the PP and tips this is about a $2,324 + savings. I would love the WAT to be included and the photo session too.
I think both of these items where you left 30 minutes to get from DTD or from V&A to then go to the Wishes Cruise are not doable. Maybe go with Option 2 and on Day 1 instead of V&A, go to Yachtsmen's or somewhere close to Wishes dock, then on second day, do V&A at 9 after La Nouba instead of Fulton's.
I just think you are setting yourself up for disappointment leaving only 30 minutes to travel
V&A would actually be the correct choice for the Wishes Cruise.Yachtsman would work for the Illuminations Cruise.
I have been watching to see how this turned out, but haven't seen anything. You say you submitted the plans above in red to IPO and they didn't flag it? I haven't done them personally, but my understanding was it was pretty tough to cut Dolphins in Depth short... it ends at 12:45. But Aqua Seas starts at 12:30 and they ask you to check in earlier, so they can start on time. You would have to end Dolphins quite a bit early to give time to get out of gear, then get to Aqua Seas check in.
I am REALLY inerested to hear if this works out... would love to try it as well![]()
this is completely possible, I've done it. the aqua seas tour cannot get into the locker rooms until the dolphins in depth tour is out. what they'll do is check you in to both tours when you check in to dolphins in depth, and you'll join the aqua seas tour when they come back stage. we missed the introductions and the walk to the living seas, but nothing else. you're out of your gear before 12:30 so that wont be a problem either.
Oops!! That is correct. Got my crusies backwards. The 5 o'clock then wishes cruise is a popular choice... Personally, I still like idea of doing V&A last so we will not feel rushed at all knowing this is the big finish for the day
But on a side note, wouldn't you agree that the option 1 in queenofhartz post with La Nouba and 30 minutes to get to Wishes cruise would be one to avoid?
What is the best resort for this simply from a transportation standpoint if you have a car? I'm thinking something where you can park close to the room and is centrally located? Any thoughts?
Also, how "worth" it are these plans when the parks close early? I'm looking at our dates for September and MK closes at 6&7 two nights due to MNSSHP, and AK closes at 5p every day.

We did it!!! Just back from a great 5 night, 25th anniversary trip with one night on the premium plan. Things just went our way from start to finish and we had a blast.
Arrived at ASSp for one night room-only stay on Wed. Visited downtown Disney for the afternoon and evening with dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express. Had asked that the first night ressie be linked to the second night, premium plan ressie so we would (hopefully) have the same room. When we checked in they said no problem, just come down to pick up your new room keys on Thurs AM. Which we did, and there was NO problem. Started Thurs with breakfast ressies at The Wave, but we got there early and ran upstairs to check out Chef Mickey's and decided to stay. WOW - must have been the anniversary buttons or the early hour, because we were seated by the window overlooking the lake and our waiter brought us a "Happy Anniversary" cupcake. What fun. That was our first of the 3 dining credits. Then we went jet-skiing (what a blast), caught the boat to Ft. Wilderness and rode Segways. We then went to the dock and got mouse-boats for about 45 minutes.
At that point it was nearly 3 and I was grumpy from hunger, so we stopped in at Roaring Forks to use a couple of snack credits. Back to our room to change and then on to Fultons for dinner. (Second dining credit) Our waiter, Deddy, made it a really special evening and we had a fun, anniversary decorated plate with dessert. Try the chocolate creme-brulee, it's to die for. Last activity for the day was Cirque - great show.
Friday AM - up early to check out and head to Magic Kingdom for our KTTK tour. We enjoyed the tour and the tidbits of Disney trivia that we didn't know, but honestly, it did spoil a bit of the magic for me. Open the back door on just about any shop on Main Street and you're out in a parking lot. :-( After a few rides on our favorites, we went to our new hotel to check in and change for dinner. Last meal on the plan was dinner at Narcoosees. Again, we're seated right at a window overlooking the lake and had a great meal. Dessert on anniversary plates, a keepsake anniversary menu, and even a copy of the recipe for the cheesecake dessert.
All in all, the plan was a great value for one night in the cheapest of the Disney hotels.
For about $600, we got a room, one day in the parks, 2 tours - Segway and KTTK, 2 boating activities, Cirque, 2 awesome dinners and a character breakfast.
I'm so glad I opened up this thread last December. Thanks to all for sharing their experiences.
