premium plan, do you HAVE to use for lunch??

hi, we are looking at getting the premium plan for 2 nights, this is the one where recreation is also included,
it says on the pdf that you get 1 breakfast 1 lunch and 1 dinner credit for each night you are on the plan, does anyone know if you have to use these at the right times, ie do you have to have a lunch rather than 2 dinners? we are thinking we could have 3 dinners ie having meal night we leave instead of the lunch, we get 2 nights 3 days in disney, if that makes sense????
none of the signature places seem to open at lunch so its a bit of a waste if not

Brown Derby and CRT are signatures and are open for lunch. So is Fulton's at DTD if you are on the premium.

You can use your credits until midnight of your check out day, so if you will still be at WDW you would be able to use credits for dinner on your "check out" day as well as the 2 days you have the plan. This works for the recreation and other perks of the premium plan as well. Disney does not care when you use the credits--any combination of meals.

Good for some tours and Cirq as well on check out day.
