Premium AP Question...

OK, I'm a little confused... we just bought our AP's for our visit in July/August yesterday (2x Deluxe and 1x Premium) and I'm getting conflicting information on the Disneyland Annual Passholder website and the ordinary Disneyland website.

We went for a Premium pass for one of us so we would get free parking and so we could enjoy all the discounts around the resort however, on the Annual Passholder website it says 10% at All Theme Park and Hotel merchandise locations* and the * = Residents living in zip code areas 90000-93599. However, on the Disneyland website, it just says 10% merchandise discount at select locations throughout the Disneyland® Resort ($10 minimum purchase; restrictions apply).

I haven't been visiting the Annual Passholder website until the last day or two as I saw a link for it somewhere (may have been here on The Dis) and have been basing my information on the Disneyland website. So reading this has really thrown me.

Which is it? We're from London, England so if the 10% merchandise discount is only for California residents, we're screwed and might as well have just got 3x Deluxe AP's and had one with parking.

Can someone please clear this up for me?

There is an AP for So Cal residents. However, if you bought a regular PAP, you will get all the discounts that come along with it. The discounts with the PAP are 10%-15% on food and merchandise and of course the free parking. HTH.

I'm sure they are just really really super-confused on the AP site. The asterix for that zip code should really only match the asterices for the two So Cal APs; having that asterix on the theme park discount area makes absolutely no sense at all, especially since Premium is the ONLY AP where you get merchandise discounts.

Someone has messed up. I might email them later about it (I love helping websites with problems and typos).

I'm fairly certain they needed a double-asterix there, b/c exclusions certainly do apply for the merchandise discounts!

I actually e-mailed them about it and they confirmed that ANYONE who buys a Premium AP gets the discounts so we're fine.

Discounted Disney items... I'm happy again!!!! I was starting to worry...
