Just double checking :confused3

We are purchasing 7 day wp&m park hoppers for our August DW trip. We will be staying at a DVC resort and plan to pre-purchase the dining plan. On our last day we plan to upgrade to premium annual passes. :dance3:

Question 1: The premium annual pass is good at both DL and DW with no blackouts correct?

Question 2: Will us having the dining plan affect buying and using an AP on our last day?

Question 3: These passes are good for 1 year from the date of our first ticket use?

We live in CA and have had deluxe annual passes but never premium. I'm hoping to get 2 DW trips and 3 DL trips out of them so I think it's well worth the cost :yay:

I think you're mixing up your terminology. A PREMIUM annual pass allows you admission to the four Florida parks, plus the water parks, Disney Quest, etc.

The PREMIER annual pass allows you admission to Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

The PREMIUM AP is $776.39

The PREMIER AP is $1009.84

It's easy to mix up the Premium and Premier names, but as Missyrose said, the 2 coast AP that you are planning to purchase is the PREMIER.

You are correct that there are no blockout dates and that the expiration date will be one year from first use of the 7 day hoppers.

You can wait until the last day of your DW trip to upgrade, but the AP will give you discounts on merchandise which you will not get with the 7 day MYW hopper. There haven't been any reports of problems with the dining plan in the last couple of years. If you are concerned you can upgrade one ticket to an AP, use the dining plan with that AP and if there are no problems, upgrade the remaining tickets.

Another dining option with an AP is to purchase the Tables in Wonderland card. Many prefer this to the dining plan because it lets you order what you want and gives a 20% discount on everything including adult beverages. It is good at almost all table service restaurants and a handful of counter service venues.
