Premium Annual Passes for DVC Members for $399!

Can you buy a voucher onsite? Or are vouchers only available via phone or internet?

The reason I ask is that I have an unused 1-day MYW parkhopper that I'd like to use towards the purchase of a voucher between 10/1/12 and 12/31/12 and activate next May.

If you buy it onsite, it activates that day. If you want a voucher that you can activate at a later date, you have to buy it online or through MS.

OK. I think I could still do this over the phone because I've purchased vouchers before over the phone using the unused 1-Day MYW PH. I just had to read the long number off the PH and they applied the amount to the AP voucher.

No. You can't activate a voucher, you have to exchange it, in person, for an AP/PAP. You go to a ticket window at a park or DTD, hand them the voucher (or provide the confirmation number if you used will call) and they hand you an AP/PAP.

I haven't yet seen an answer to this question: What happens if you purchase a voucher for one of these reduced-price PAPs and don't exchange it by 12/31/2013? Do you get nothing and lose the money or can you still get the PAP sometime after 12/31/13 but it will expire on 12/31/2014, one year after the last possible exchange date?

I took a guess in a thread somewhere, maybe this one, that they would let you use it but the price for the upgrade would be to the regular price not the special offer price. Just my guess though.

So just to make sure I'm ohka I'm going sept 2013 I can buy this premium pass for 399$ for myself , dh , dd,dd3 and ds5? And activate them when I arrive next year and they will still be good for a full year ? This seems to good to be true

Yes you have it right. You must purchase them during the last three months of this year (Oct 1, 2012 through Dec 31, 2012) and you have until the end of 2013 (Dec 31, 2013) to activate them.

Yes, if you purchase vouchers or certificates online via the DVC Member's website or over the phone from Member Services no later than the end of this year, you have until the end of 2013 to exchange the voucher (or present your "will call" certificate) for a PAP. The PAP is good for one year from the day you exchange your voucher/present your certificate and get the actual PAP in your hand.

Just call sometime between 10/1/2012 to 12/31/2012. You don't have to buy in person.

Ideally I would like to use a regular ticket for my Sept. trip and then upgrade it to a PAP at the end of the trip and pay the difference. But since I won't be there on Oct. 1 to upgrade, that won't work.

I don't want to have to purchase a regular ticket for my Sept. trip and then have to purchase a PAP separately as I have trips scheduled between Sept. 2012 and Sept. 2013.

I'll bet you could do this after 10/1 as long as there's at least one unused day and you upgrade within 14 days of first use.
