Question for all of you.
I would like to purchase the Premium Annual Pass, but I am curious as to what "other" perks does it come with. Can anyone give me some examples?

Thx
:rotfl2:

I believe the Premium AP allows admission to the Water Parks and Pleasure Island.
I am not sure if there are any other perks besides that. :confused3

Well as far as I know the premium anaual pass doen't offer any other perks than the original ap except that it includes theme park parking...ie. you dont pay the 8 bucks to park. It also gives you admission to the 2 water parks and disney quest and I think pleasure island. We purchased this pass one time before and we only went to Disney quest once and we only went to blizzard beach once so it wasnt cost effecient for us and we never repurchased them. Also if you stay on disney property you dont pay for parking anyways.

Some of the perks for both the annual pass and premium annual pass is hotel discounts if available using the online best rate program, discouts on the back stage tours, discounts on food, eligibility to buy a disney dining experience card which saves you 20% at most sit down restaurants, and 10% of shopping at the world of disney store in downtown disney, and discounts on some other things such as mini golf and mouse boat rentals etc.

It also allows admission to Disney Quest.

For me the PAP is cost effective. I almost never go to Disney Quest but I do attend water parks and spend vast amounts of time at PI.

You get the same "perks" as a regular AP otherwise. There are some minimal merchandise and dining discounts, and of course the infamous room discounts. You can buy a DDE card for $50 and get 20% off your entire bill at Disney full service restaurants, counter service at AK and some resort food courts.

All APs include free parking at theme parks.

Also, at Pleasure Island, PAP's get one guest in for free on FRIDAYS only by picking up a Annual Guest Pass from the PI ticket booths. This perk is only for PI annual passes, or Premium Annual passes. $22.32 value, every friday.

The premium annual pass is the same as the regular annual pass except for the addition of unlimited water park fun & more (DQ, PI, selected Wide World of Sports days) and the PI guest benefit mentioned above.

The break even with the regular AP is approximately 4 water park and/or DQ and/or PI visits, where two or more PI visits in a 6 day span count as one visit. (PI often runs a five more nights for five more dollars special when you buy a separate all clubs admission.)

Both AP's give free theme park parking.

>>> x days x hours x minutes x seconds before have to fit into the costume
I hope you did not get the dining plan because after a few days of that you will no longer fit into the costume.

Thank you everyone for the information. This is exactly what I was looking for.

BTW, if you are DVC the break even bwtn Premium and regular APs is only 3 water park visits, or 2 plus DQ, or PI*2 plus water park plus DQ, you get the idea. Since getting ours in May, my sister and I have been to TL twice, DQ once, and PI 2 nights with the second time being to get out of the rain and we could because we had the pass already. We know we will have approx 30 more nights on property with these passes so they are soooo going to be worth it but we only got Grandma a regular AP. We didn't get the DVC discount on hers so it cost the same as our premiums and she doesn't do water parks or DisneyQuest. We are definitely taking her to PI to the Comedy Club and the Adventurer's Club when we take her again though. We will get the 50% PI admission with the DDE card for her.

In addition, since it seems to be the next question- yes, the DDE card is worth it. Even staying in villas, we eat approximately 1 meal a day in the parks or at a resort and the 4 of us paid for the card in 3 meals on the May- June trip. Yes, we do stuff like share due to the huge portion sizes but it was still definitely worth it. Since we are all adults, we like the pace and such of TS meals and with the exception of places without TS restaurants, that is where the DDE cards are valid.
