Current Member Pricing on Annual Passes (excludes limited time promo on PAP that ends 4/30/2014):

Is it correct this is what I want if I am doing 8 days in three trips over the course of the year? If I purchase this weekend (can I do that) or Monday can I wait to activate it when I get to Disney in September and start my "year" then? I NEVER have ready ANYTHING on AP or PAP since I always ge the 10 day but I think this is what I need this year, is that correct?

Does anyone know what the tax is on $484 PAP discount for DVC members through April 30?

The 8 day non expiring ($618) or 10 day non expiring ($710) is much higher so I think I need to purchase the PAP DVC discount (these prices include the tax).
I need the non expiring option since I will need to use over three trips. Also, can I park hop with the PAP?
I called Disney and they said there are no discounts or codes past August right now, although not sure if that is correct. I am going on December 27-29 so not sure
if there will even be any discount between Christmas and New Years but I guess I can always call and see what they say.

What is the food/alcohol discount? Is it same/better than TiW, which I had planned on purchasing?

So, I call MS for DVC and ask for the DVC PAP member discount? Once I purchase before April 30 I can activate it whenever I want? THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH!

Ok, you do see that the regular AP is $485 + tax. The special offer of the Premium AP is $484 + tax and is only good until April 30. It's a fantastic deal especially if you have any interest in the "extras" like the waterparks, Disney Quest and golf (50% off mini-golf even). The last couple of years they have been offering the PAPs to DVC members, last year it was $399 + tax.

Yes, you can buy this weekend and activate in September.

You must stop ignoring those e-mails and mailers from DVC.

If you purchase on-line or thru MS, you will receive either an exchange certificate (aka voucher) or will call confirmation number. You then need to exchange for the actual pass once you arrive at WDW and the year begins when the CM hands you the actual pass.

Our total was $515.46. Tax is 6.5%

If you travel all within 1 year, you're better off getting the AP. Non expiring tickets work best for travel spanning more than 1 year.

I have a question about this. My wife and I are on the deed so we are considered members. If I buy an annual pass for each child do we pay guest rate for them? I'm confused.

Immediate family members living in your household are eligible for member pricing. You are limited to eight annual passes per membership per 12 month period.

You can hop. All day everyday. Believe me when I say that these APs really get you hooked. We just bought our 3rd set, the feeling of all-access and freedom is just amazing! The best part is when you stay at the Contemporary for those couple of days and you can just walk over to MK, go in and ride 1 ride, have a Dole Whip and leave. It's pretty awesome!

If you and your mom live at the same address you can get her one too. You cannot get her one if not. Sorry.

At WDW when picking up the actual passes, all adults (ages 18 +) must show a photo id and the address must match that of the DVC Member.

The non-discounted price of an AP is $634 plus tax.

UT does not sell APs.

4/30 is when the promo for the $484 PAP ends. Regular member pricing will not change until Disney does the next price adjustment (last price adjustment was on 6/2/2013).

The limited time promo for the PAP at $484 plus tax must be purchased by 4/30/2014 and activated (exchange for actual pass) by 1/31/2015.

Besides the 4 main parks, where else can I exchange the voucher for the PAP? I was thinking of going to Disney Quest on the first day after checking in at the resort.
