Premier Access during Olympics?

Bonjour! We are staying at DLP for a few days during the Olympics, and will have 2 park days (Tuesday & Thursday). Should we get a Premier Access pass for one of the days? We love rollercoasters and will want to do each ride at least once. We also want to see some shows (but probably not every single thing).

It seems like 2 days is enough to do everything, but I anticipate high crowds. Do you think it’s worth the premier pass for one day to ensure we get the rides? Then the second day use for favorite rides and any shows we don’t get to see on the first day?

Merci!

I would say yes, but not due to the Olympics. At the moment there are some clues that people might stay away from Paris and DLP this summer (like AP holders can order discounted tickets for friends and family the entire summer.
Am I correct to say that you are not staying onsite? That combined with everyone in Europe being on holiday, I would suggest to buy Premier Access.
However, I always suggest not to buy a package, but pay per ride. There are times around closing/fireworks shows/parades when lines can be a little shorter or use single rider and it might not be necessary for every ride in the package.

Also keep in mind that several shows use guaranteed seating, for 15 euro p/p you are guaranteed a (good) seat at a show. This will save you time queueing.

@Karin1984 Thanks! We are staying in property for a few days, but we have an event on Wednesday that’s why our days are split. Thanks for the idea of just buying individual passes. Can you just buy as you go, or do you buy a designated time slot? Also, does the full premier access include shows or do you have to buy those in addition?

No, the premier access for rides and guaranteed seating are two different purchases. They do not offer packages that include both.

Staying onsite will give you the advantage to use the early hour for hotel guests. Most headliners are open.

I have never bought it myself, so I am not that educated on the details. I would suggest to have a look at youtube. There must be explanation videos from other visitors.

Best ride to purchase access for is Crush Coaster in the Studios. Even when using single rider, their wait is usually not under 45 minutes. Other option is to do it at rope drop during early hours.

When you buy an individual Premier Access pass for a single ride, it gives you the next available time slot, however unlike ILL$/Genie+ rides at WDW, this is not normally way in advance - in fact the few times I have purchased one, I've usually gotten a slot starting within 5-10 minutes of the current time. Maybe if it was a VERY busy day, it could potentially give you a time anything up to half an hour away, but the fact is Premier Access isn't all that popular with guests in Paris, so there's rarely that long of a wait for your time to come up and essentially no queue once you get into the line.

On July 11th, Disneyland Paris will announce some kind of special hotel deals for AP holders this summer.
Another clue (according to me :) ) that the hotels aren't as full as DLP would like during the Olympics.
