Pregnant woman in a BIKINI at Sesame Place today..

Her belly looked OK - no stretch marks, but as DH said, who wants to see that? I would NEVER show my pregnant belly.

I certainly wouldn't go out and buy a maternity suit. But there would definitely be a cut-off, maybe six months or so, when I wouldn't dare go out in public in a bikini.

DH & I was in the grocery store yesterday when a VERY pregnant 20 something young woman walked by us. She had on short shorts and a tank top.

This seems to be a new trend and I have to say "What are they thinking?". I always had a maternity bathing suit and can't imagine wearing a tank top and having my pregnant belly sticking out.

I agree! I couldn't wear a bikini NOW so I personally wouldn't wear one pregnant LOL
But when we were on DCL there was a woman who looked like she was ready to give birth any minute wearing a bikini. She looked great but I was even more impressed with the confidence she had to wear it. I was 2 months pregnant at the time with my second and I was already trying to hide everything.

Long gone are the days when pregnant women had to hide their bodies under voluminous layers of fabric! Why not wear a bikini, or shorts, or anything else for that matter, if it's comfortable, and if it's what she'd wear otherwise? A pregnant body is beautiful and special and I have no problems at all with seeing a belly, stretch marks or not.

I was at a pool a few weeks ago and there were actually 2 pregnant bikini wearing young ladies there. I really didn't give it much thought at the time, but since it was brought up...
These young ladies were obviously in good shape before and since getting pregnant. It didn't personally bother me to see them in bikini's. I've seen non-pregnant ladies wearing bikinis and some beer gut toting guys wearing too-small trunks before and thought "what are they thinking?!".

I personally would not wear a bikini pregnant only because I would not wear one when not pregnant! However if a pregnant woman wants to wear one then who are we to stop her? A pregnant belly is one to be proud of and nothing to be ashamed of and hide! So what if other people are disgusted, just because she looks fat? She is with child and that is a beautiful thing so get over it already.

I would much rather see a pregnant woman that's healthy and in nice shape as opposed to some of the things I see at the pool on a daily basis! I see very heavy women in bikinis all the time and the tatoos........YUCK!!! Those tatoos are much more offensive than any pregnant belly would be! Pregnancy is a BEAUTIFUL thing and it should be celebrated not hidden away shamefully! I say if you've got the body and the guts.....GO FOR IT!

ITA! However, I personally would not wear a bikini while pregnant because I wouldn't wear one at any other time, either! I am, um, too top-heavy for that to come to any good, if ya know what I mean!

We went on a cruise a few years ago, and there was a very pregnant woman at the pool wearing a bikini (probably about 7 months). She looked beautiful!

i am pregnant 5months and i would wear a bikini...i think it's cute when i see women doing the same and so does my husband..it's sexy in a wierd way...the funny thing is i would NEVER wear one before or after pregnancy...crazy huh??

I'm 36 wks pregnant and wear a maternity tankini. Each week it seems to get closer and closer to becoming a bikini--eek!! I've seen cute pregnant women wearing bikinis--wish I were one of them. I'm hoping to deliver before I outgrow this swimsuit
