I'm not familiar with all the rides at WDW --- can you tell me which one's are probaby too bumpy or rough for someone 6mos pregnant?

What about the Tower of Terror ?

Thanks

It's generally posted somewhere inm the line area if the ride is rough, turbulent, etc... and TOT is one of those rides where that's posted. Also, you'd want to avoid the Rock n roller coaster, Star Tours, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash mountain, Mission: Space, Test Track, Kali River Rapids, and possibly the Kilimanjaro Safaris (it is a bit bumpy). I belive that's the extent of it, but I'm not sure.

The rides with cautions are indicated on the park maps with a litttle red triangle icon. There is also a caution message at the entrance to the queue and at least one sign before boarding.
Here are the ones listed on the park maps:
MK:
  • Goofy's Barnstormer
  • Indy Speedway
  • Space Mountain
  • Big Thunder Mountain
  • Splash Mountain (Note: this is not a "bumpy" ride, the concern is the sudden, steep drop could cause problems, specifically with the placenta)
AK:
  • Kali River Rapids
  • Primeval Whirl
  • Dinosaur
  • Kilimanjaro Safari
Studio
  • Star Tours
  • Rock'n'Roller Coaster
  • Tower or Terror (not bumpy, but the drop is the problem)
Epcot
  • Body Wars
  • Mission Space
  • Test Track

Thank you very much for the replys --- I am less concerned knowing what I can and can't go on !

I would definately suggest asking your doctor his opinion of what you should and should not ride. My doc tends to be a bit more forgiving with me than most doctors are. I live 2 hours from Disney and go down there about once every month, he has gotten used to it, lol.

The list of things I am not allowed to ride:

Space Mountain
Thunder Mountain
Mission Space
Test Track
Rock'N'Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Dinosaur

Dinosaur I figured out on my own the last time I was there at 5 months pregnant, it is just way too rough. I have ridden Splash with no problems whatsoever, the same goes with Kilimanjaro Safaris which is just like a bumpy car ride, it really isn't that bad. Kali I ahven't had a problem with either. Again, this is just my personal experience. I suggest you ask your doctor before you do anything, or be extra careful.

Dana

edited to say: I forgot to add Star Tours, Body Wars, and Primevil Whirl.

Tomorrowland Speedway can also be a problem, cars often get bumped from behind.
